Using someone else's template is fine Spitz, especially if you're a wee bit rusty. Just be sure to give the guy credit somewhere on the page.

Check out my last-minute Yak-1/1b and P-63 Squadron skins for examples.

Good deal.

I guess I could look at the Zeros. There are a lot of different models and I know that each one is different in small ways. If anyone has info about that, let me know. I'll check around and see which one is best to start.

My old Zeros are pretty basic and need much updating.

PS: I know that the wings on some are slightly longer. I'll be on the lookout for that l'il deal.

Okay,

here's what info I have on who does what for Phase II of the Great Skinnin' Project.

Snaphoo

Updating old skins for three new pilots.

Possible:

bf-110 (I have this covered, but if you want to do your own, LMK)
A6m2 (I have this covered, but if you want to do your own, LMK)
P-39 (winter)

Falcon

bf-110
Fw-190A
All Zero's
A6M2-N
Ju-88
IL-10
Ta-183
bf-109F/G/K

Updating old skins for three new pilots.

Noter

Do-335

Updating old skins for three new pilots.

SneakyRussian

bf-109E
Stuka
Me-262
190D9
EDIT: He-111

Updating old skins for three new pilots.

Possible:

P-39 (winter)

Genosse/Falcon

CR-42
G50
MC-205 I/III

~~~
Please correct any errors above.
So far the new pilots are:
19 BADGER
41 BLUE 2
82 BIGGLES 3
Do you have any thoughts of taking any member OFF the list?
If youz guyz can accept a completion date sometime in Feb, then we can put a cut-off date for new pilots around Feb 1 ... or something.
It is not uber important to do EVERY Axis or new Allied prop plane. We will do what we can do.
I know everyone's busy. Let us know if you can do your stuff by some time February.
Questions?
Additions?
Expletives Deleted?
Thanks mates, you're great,
Falcon
Dear hard workin' skinners wiff real lives,
The lag problem has been minimal for me, but I understand fully that it is intollerable for some at this point. Whether or not we fix the lag issues associated with the project I feel we should finish up all the work we have done to a point.
What to do now:
1. If you can't devote much/any more time to the project right now send me your templates and I'll at least keep up with doing the new pilot skins.
2. Forget about the Axis/new ac now and do the new pilots.
19 BADGER
37 GURKESAFT
41 BLUE 2
82 BIGGLES 3
3. Hold off until you have time and I'll use some of my designs for the new pilots that are most needed in the co-ops now. Ex: P-40, Corsair, etc.
4. Any other ideas?
Don't sweat any of this. Remember, this is just for fun. If it for even a second starts to feel like work then let us know!
I'll finish my Axis stuff and the new pilots for my designs in uhhh ... two weeks. I can pick up the slack after that with no worries.
Thanks,
Falcon
Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel (hopefully not an oncomming train). I should be able to get my stuff done in two weeks. If not I will let you know.
