As of the end of December 2006 our airline BWIA will be no more. After 66 years of relatively safe operations the government decided to do away with the company. After years of gross mismanagement and millions of dollars wasted I think it was really time they cleaned up everything. Another airline, Caribbean Airlines will take its place but as a regional airline. One thing though they had excellent pilots, first officers, flight engineers and flight attendants. So, here's to BWIA R.I.P.

Canjet goes Ka-put tomorrow too. Good bye cheap flights to Ottawa and Toronto. It'll be like the good ol days, cheaper to fly to London

Yeah, the airline industry is sure a volatile business. I'm better off building a raft and head to America. At least I can take me sun tan lotion.
