Downloads best via EA Downloader, at least in my case.
Quite a huge patch...140 or so.
Try it, Mef, maybe it fixes the bug.

After a corrupted installation of the incremntial 1.3 to 1.4 patch I was forced to download the huge 1.4 retail patch (580 MB !!!) the entire yesterday evening. I haven´t checked the updated BF2 out yet so I can´t tell anything about it.
Sorry for not showing up to the CTT, chaps ... I was busy sorting out my BF2 problems ...

at last a nice patch! Hopefully this one sort the crash problems out. Has anybody tried this patch already??
anyway it was on CTT on the rhinevalley 24/7 big fun... it was a good FIP invasion

It looks liek that EA have sorted out the crash issue in BF2. I haven´t had any crashed since then and IMHO BF2 now loads a bit quicker the missions. Can´t say anything to the other improvements/corrections though ...
