Surprisingly as it is so close to me, I only got around to visting the Shuttleworth collection this week.
Lots of really old stuff!
This is the plane that needs naming

As they were working on it outside, it did not have a label

... so what is it?
One of those funny foreign planes...

(Deperdussin 1910)
Some proper British built stuff...

(Bristol Boxkite 1910)
Beauty unsurpassed until the development of the Spitfire...

(Sopwith Pup 1916)
Note that the vast majority of the collection (including those pictured here) are flyable.
...and the motorcycles and and cars drivable
Will try and post more after I get back from Duxford tomorrow....

Yeah, they were going to make Norton Comando(e?)'s again

but it fell through. They are making more Black Shadow engines, but I'd really like to see an afordable Vincent back on the marketplace. I can wish though can't I?
Hmmm... the Vincent....

Dial up beware, that is a BIG pic of a beautiful piece of art.. They were ahead of their time. Girder front end, dual front brakes, rear suspension. All in all quite a machine.
LOTS more pics here
