The saga continues....

My power supply fried my whole machine more or less. So far, I've gotten an Antech 400W p/s. a new D850EMV2 mobo from INTEL ( via gaybay ) and then I thought I had my problem solved when I won an auction for a 3.06G P4 chip. 
The WANKER lost the damn chip!!! Couldn't find it anywhere! FFS. He was nice enough to refund my $$ but it put my rebuild WAY behind schedule. 
Just finished purchasing another 3.06 a few minutes ago and hopefully it will arrive in 3 or 4 days and I get the damn thing back on net without too much hassle.
I was able to upgrade to the 3.06 chip from the 2.53 that fried so maybe things will run a small bit smoother. Frankly, I just hope the damn thing boots without me finding out that ALL my data is junk.
Had I known that ALL was fried, I'd have upgraded the MOBO to something that supports hyper threading. Maybe next go round LOL.
The wife's machine needs a real upgrade and the next $$ are going to her new machine.
