do u need broad band to play il2 online?. i hav 48.oo speed internet could i play it online?

...and to get the most out of the Il-2 series broadband is preferable.
Using a standard modem will allow you to play online, but your experience is reduced considerably.
With broadband everything is better...you can join servers with more players, lag is reduced considerably.
If broadband is available I highly recommend it.

Got a Wireless Broadband setup here and due to "Packet latency"
cant connect to servers.
Getting connection sorted on cable and going superfast instead.

I would seriosuly think of going up to brodaband if you really wnat to get maximum enjoyment out of il2.Without you pretty much restricted to rooms with only 4 or so players wheeras with it you can engage in wars with more like 40!
If I was you i'd get it

Most of us started on 56k modems (or less) and then moved up to and it certainly improves all onine experience.
I for one would not go back.
