Antons over Amsterdam [BIG pictures]

Post by :FI:Falcon » Tue Dec 20, 2005 3:44 am

I've been hearing a lot of buzz about the 190 around the forums,

I just can't remember if it were good or bad buzz.

Anywho,

next project ...

and gawd does the void need help!

This may take a while.

Most of it is not complimentary, the buzz, that is.

The DORA is AWESOME. The Antons have had some teeth pulled it seems and the Anton afficianados are less than happy.

I got pretty comfortable in the 4.01 Antons and was really enjoying myself. 4.02 came around and now aobut all I mess with is the DORA.

Still an awesome plane if flown fast and turns kept to a minimum.

Okay Willie,

after I do tha Anton I will do a Dora.

My old Dora template needs work anyway.

My thought here was to do some skins of the earlier war variety.

Man!

Whoever drew the original void really butchered this bird!

Almost all lines have been corrected, some textures and shading done and proper placement and detailing of hatches, latches and hinges begun ...

Image

Rivets <gag!> next.

I decided to start off with an easy FIS paint scheme. If anyone has a favorite historical design they would like, let me know.

Major color/line/hatch/rivet work done.

Image

The template is much cleaner and precise now. I'm ready to finish detailing, shading, decaling, etc.

Then dirt and wear.
