Dog Green sector of Omaha Beach (depicted in the opening scenes of Saving Private Ryan), with the Vierville draw to the right:
The new Pegasus Bridge (present since 1963), with Café Gondrée to the left of the picture across the Caen Canal (if you look closely you'll see Genosse up in one of the windows sniping, RULES deploying his MG42 on the bridge, and Dutchman wandering around admiring the water textures! ):
The original bridge, now situated in a museum one hundred yards away from it's original site, and a Horsa glider replica. Despite having no engines, Horsa gliders had the same touchdown speed as a modern jumbo jet!:
