Salute to all the Fightin' Irish members,I have put in a application to join your squad and hope to one day become a member.I seem to make a good target flying alone online all the time,so I thought joining a squad would make me a better combat pilot and meeting new people too.
Ok I will now bore you with a bit about me.Well I have managed to stay single for 39 years but last week i got engaged,I don't know if I'm happy or sad yet?[lol}I work in the Logging industry as a Faller, mostly Heli logging with the Aircane,107 Vertol and 234 Chinook.Because of my work I'm away from home alot, mostly 2 weeks on 1 week off.I live on the West Coast of Vancouver Island,BC,Canada and brrr it's cold out today.I'm a little bit of a computer geek and like to do some skinning and making up missions.I have a pilots licence but don't fly too much because of the cost now a days and I get enough of it at work, buzzing around in float planes and the Hughes 500 every day.
I hope to meet some of you online soon. Salute....Mark...aka..Vicious

Howdy Sid!!!

Welcome to our little logging party :)

Anudder Canuck?

Ahhh... shure why not... ;)

We have trees here too. Quite a few actually, if you are looking for some more wood.

A bit difficult to see them for all the forest though...

Pull up a pint and buy me a seat!

Another Canadian named Mark? Sounds great mate! =D]

Finally a tough Canadian lumber-jack who WILL destroy these wimpy, computer-geeky Americans and Euros [insert lots of evil laughter  ].

Welcome and may you make your "mark" here mate.

Regards,
Tact - "Mark from the Maritimes" - S!

No I fly fixed'wings and only have about 50 hours,I have my night endorsement and crop duster licence.lol
The 500's take us fallers up the Mtn in morning then pick us up at the end of the day.6.5 hours at work.Loggers work 10-12 hours and so do the Pilots, they work while us Fallers drink BEER. :D

You faller fellers.. must be the envy of the eggbeater drivers.. ;)

A pard of mine used to do that in Idaho.. said they had a hotshot that would try to bowl em over with the down draft. They got tired of it and tied his logs to the ground. He fired his guillotine to get loose and the company fired him.

I still think the original Hughes 500 is a LOT easier to look at.. :D
