No ... I'm committed ... in more ways than one ... to finish this right. As you can see I needed to fix the cowl flap details anyway.

I've taken over 500 screen shots and spent too much time on this to quit just yet.

I am even close to wrappin' things up. I just need to find a few more mystery areas.

I'll have a better template when I'm finished and be able to send new versions of older Beau designs when it's done.

I can see it now on hyper lobby,

full realism

Beau fighters vs bf109

custom mission with exactly 28 aircraft guns on a pixel perfect airfield just like on may 27th 1944

2 squadrons going head on over the river which is exactly 28 ft deep like the real one (if you look closely you can see the correct historical fish)

Of course, the same weather as then - with the wind blowing exactly the same direction to a .1 degree of accuracy...

then I appear with my twin engined bumblebee of death!

I'll prolly send it tomorrow NC,

then I'm taking a six month vacation ...

or maybe six minutes,

that darn P-38 needs some upgrading.

To go with the up-coming "Sots Up the Slot" missions ...

... a RAAF Beau with a historic scheme ~halfway between Aussi foliage green (83/100/90) and FI Galway green.

Wardog ... an "O"?

Now, I know the ~two fat ladies 22 thing~

Is "O" another obscure ... Essex thing?

or do you mean the beau "o" on the front page, the gray one wthe green camo?

Or do you want me to paint a target somewhere?

;)

No I ment an o model paint scheme on the first page LOL I'd like it with my two little ducks(22) and good old gromit if poss m8.

If it was an obscure Essex thing it would have to be something clever as that is the most obscure thing here in Essex

PS: Kev, this is an OOOOLD thread, but I think I still have or can quickly rebuild the 'o' scheme template.

Yes, yes, yes, yes ... no problem.

Found the template, a few wee fixes et voila!

The ZK was a code for a Beau squadron out of Essex.
