I wrote a little c# program and I can match the unknows in 99% of the cases which should make for more accurate stats.
Hi buddy,wow,very cool.
Maybe we should meet in teamspeak,I guess a quick talk is more efficient.

What primary matters is imho
-total air kill
-actual air kill streak (without death or p.o.w)
-personal highest air kill streak (without death or p.o.w)

-ground kill total
-actual ground kill streak (without death or p.o.w.)
-personal highest air kill streak (without death or p.o.w)
-ground kill seperated into armored and soft targets

-flight time total
-death total
-human pilot victims
-human pilot killers
- K/D rate

I could provide several lists of all used armored and soft vehicles/tanks/artillery ... if needed.

DCG itself creates and updates a lot of files, that would could be interesting to implment eg.
- available planes/squadron at what airfield
- an overview where own tanks are on the map (this would need a restricted area for both sides)
- once DCG created a file, that listed the supply rate situation in percent (have to ask Lowengrin where it went)

So that would be the basic things to evaluate for stats and following medals.
Maybe you could imagine some more meaningfull stuff to evaluate?
I am useless in stuff like web coding and stuff,so I dont know what output would be best to use.I can offer a domain, webspace and mysql,if you got any idea how to implement an output file into a website , you will have my attention.

Sneaky Russian wrote:Only aircraft with a seperate radio compass ( in addition to the magnetic/gyro compass), and/or ADF will be able to use the NDBs or radio stations to navigate.
Any Aircraft with a radio should be able to tune to the landing beacons and hear the dash (right), continuous (centr) , dot (left)
Does that mean, even pilots in planes without a dedicated radio compass should be able to use landing beacon by ear?
The Non Directional Beacons are not auditiv, but Landing Beacons like the Lorenz are - is that correct?
In that case I should add Landing Beacons aswell.

Atm I just added 2 NDB per side. Red has its Beacons at Naro Fominsk and Istra and Radio Moscow near Lesnoy Gorosok imho. However when I got you correct ,none of red planes will be able to take advantage of it but the Il4 and probably some Il2 or Pe-2?

If I should add Landing Beacons for navigation by ear, where do you would like me to place them?

NDBs transmit in all direction .

With NDBs you will hear static, but without instruments in your AC little use.
Lorenz gives the dot dash cont. tones + hez and vez - 3km , and 300m tones as audio on your radio. actually 2 narrow directional beams that overlap in the centre to give the continuous tone - note in-game audio levels may need adjusting. so even AC without the instruments are able to use + runway heading should appear on map icon

Coolaroony.I will exchange the NDB with Lorenz and ...well,the allied one, what was it called  ...
Could you plz tell me at which airfields you would like to have it, so I am able to exchange it tomorrow afternoon?

Not sure how enemy AI will treat them; so that may be worth testing in case they are vulnerable on the front line fields.
Also worth warning your pilots not to crash into them, and possibly placing them just off the centre line of runway.
Too bad theres no Road Cones in the objects list!

AI is sometimes triggered to bomb complete Airfields and so each static Object aswell.
Means the chances to destroy it is not too bad. But it will be treated by DCG as each other "colored" static object.
As soon as a truck column passes a location, it repairs all static objects again, the destroyed Lorenz or allied pendant aswell of course.

I kissed the damn Lorenz several times after I treid to land at night.... :D

You think 2 Antennas would be enough each side? One at Balananovo, another one at Istra?
At the end valueable targets also for human bombers.

You may want to change the Axis bases to suit, but would suggest keeping the markers as many of our pilots will be new to this. also the 1 NDB + 1 flak near each teams front line base

I ve to add the BLind Landing for next session ,together with the summer map/objexts.
Just didnt find time today before event start - first day in 2013 with 18°C (...plus) :D, so I spend time in the alps with my bike this afternoon. Default Beacons and Radio towers are in however.

Ahem...1.JaVA joined for the first time (sun 14-4) and we had a very pleasant evening! :D

Too bad that our FD could not join at all. He kept on being kicked, though he has a proper install and version of the game.

On a note: the 2nd mission Keben and me (in IL2's) were heading for some German troops west of Mozashk. Biggles escorting us warned for 3 Bf's on our tail.
We took down 2 of them but we lost Biggles and Keben. I then went on to pursue the remaining Bf. He was climbing, i was following.
Then Nephris (in that Bf) chatted that I was not proper flying, telling me that "a IL2 should never pursue a Bf in a climb"

I got confused..what's that all about i thought..then he called me a Cheater!

WHAAAT??

What stupid rule is that Nephris..you want me to fly strait and level on low speed to play a target for you??
I asked him: "tell me you are kidding or i never join again!"
But then the mission ended.

I talked to Blue afterwards and he assured me "there's nothing wrong, he's just fooling you!"

I really want to believe that of course, because we had big fun. And in the confusion i killed myself..on a Oleg tree! #-o

Good to see you guys there. Nice to be on level terms for a change :D

I doubt if Nephris was calling you a "cheater", after all you can fly your plane how you want right? I got my Yak in a flat spin at one point :( , that was my choice. :D I think it was probably just German/Dutch humour, and you he was maybe trying to do that in English, plenty of chance for things to get lost in translation.

Hope to see you Java guys next week.

I wouldn't take this too seriously, m8. After all it's still Oleg's world, isn't it? A Zero can catch up easily on a diving Corsair, the MiG-3 is slow as molasses, you get jumped by an invisible tree and an IL-2 is able to chase after a Bf107-E/7 (I assume) in a climb. This sim is not perfect and so we need to life with it. I suppose that Nephris was just pissed off that your pursuit was just possible not that you did it ...

No big deal at all, IMHO.

Still hoping to see you Nederlanders again in this camapaign.

Tot volgende zondag, 1. JaVa! ^:)
