I get it sometimes- try shutting down and restarting Il2, see if it helps. I think it has to do with the game running short of memory.

I know that there is a memory heap Mod out.

Different versions. For older systems 1GB and newer systems 4GB.

Don't know where to get it separately though.

It's available at the SAS website. I've tried it, but I've had more lockups with it than without. Of course I have only 3G of memory and Graphics card with less than 1G onboard memory.

what way is your window page file set up ?

I think right now I'm letting Windows manage my page file. If you have a suggestion on this I'm all ears.

Thanks for the help with this Armitage. I now have my page file set to 6741 for 3G.
