... although I know that all the scenes were cut together and I (hope to) believe that they were at least the same amount of peeps answering those questions correctly ...

BTW, I know these kind of "summary" also from German TV ... and is CNNNN is a real TV station?

Check this out this video!

That's why politicians don't rely on public views to shape policies. 90% of the population just don't know what the hell's going on. In a recent study US High School students were ask when WW2 began. The majority said 1941 when the US entered the war. I like Americans but it's time the US burst out of it's isolation bubble and find out they're not the only ones inhabiting this planet. Ok, enough serious talk. Gen, can you flash those pearly whites and scare the kiddies?? :lol:

Me thinks that U.S is such a big country, that there´s so much to learn about it´s own history and geography, that the history and geographylessons in U.S schools are mainly focused in the U.S of A.. Am i correct?

Btw, another funny video;

As I already wrote ...

Post by :FI:Genosse » Tue Apr 10, 2007 6:53 am

... we have the same peeps here in Germany. I guess it has something to do with worse education and/or less interest on political/geographical/whatsoever topics. So it´s not specifically an US American problem ...

Sometimes even struggling for a good living might be a reason for a missing interest ... that doesn´t mean we all should die dumb ... ;)

personally , I think they just don't care unless it slaps them in the face, HARD. then next week their reactions to the slap were over-reactive and warmongering.
