Folks!

Is anyone of you interested in this? Then I could offer you a lesson (two hours) on upcoming Sunday before the Sunday COOP Campaign. The maxium amount of students is four people. I´d like to start with this unit at 1500 GMT/1600 BST/1700CET ...

Any takers?

I'll be up for it Gen. Its a holiday weekend here in the US, so I wasnt around, maybe some other US mates. Maybe next sunday or a day during the week would be better, maybe a weds? :)

I think Gen is referring to unusual attitude training. I.E. spin recovery techniques, possible loss of situational awareness, (clouds and stuff) or how to fly your plane out of the mess you've just flown it into.

Unless you've flown it into the ground. :roll: If that is the case, the RE-FLY button is about your only option. :badgrin:

Should be a lot of fun and very helpful to guys that are a bit on the rusty side of aviating.

I hope a LOT less stressful than when my instructor type friend, had me put on the hood and then scrambled the controls on the PA-22-108 Piper Colt we were flying. He managed to scramble it in such a way that we were diving, inverted, ( a no no for that plane ) in the dark of night and he said "Here, you fly it now." :shock: We exceeded VnE by a LARGE margin before I could get that punk leveled out without pulling the wings off. Whoever put the fabric on those wings of that plane, did a DAMN good job. I was worried aobut windscreen failure as well, but not near as much as the ground rushing up at 240-250MPH. I got her levelled out and my buddy said, "Note to self, don't do that again." We flew it around gently back to the field, landed and checked it for damage. finding none, we got drunk. :lol:



It was probably a burp in the translation thingy that made it come out like Gen wrote it. ;)

Recovering from unusual attitudes ...

Well Frank, if your school includes recovery like Willie thinks, I'd be happy to give the uber-official FFA recomendations.

If you are going to train pilots how to get a bandit off you tail and then get on HIS tail, then forget me! I usually just pee in my shorts and go into a semi-intentional spin.

I'd be happy to learn what you have to teach so count me in if it'll be a Sunday ... or possibly another day.
