Good session guys, still a bit to go on the comms side though. We have the bomber guys doing the business for us.
Lets not waste the fighters unless its necassary(Bomber chappies, we fighter bods are only there to make sure you do your job)
This is a Team effort, and you guys turning up are jusification enough.

Thanks for hosting ardmore, I had a fun time for my first Pearl to Japan coop with you guys. Although I thought the AI would put up more of a fight, I dont think one shot a bullet at me? Is this because they were just dedicated to thier target or formation or just low AI settings? Either way...I had a good time, survied and got some kills, worked on my nav skills too Thanks mate

Yeah,
the AI was set to
"Use me you brute"
mode
on that last mission,
but the company was good.
See ya next Sunday and thanks mate.

Hi guys
i did my stinking best to get it done. The first mission mysystem crashed when we wer half way, so that one vaporised for me.
The seccond mission also with Helo as flight leader (excelent detailed flight info, thanks Dan) we did come trough the AAA and bombed the carrier and Nellip gave the final burst.
We returned all save at the carrier and I had to bail in the Final moment
after some deck bumping acrobatics.
I enjoyed it verry much especially that i could finish the whole mission.
the comming weeks i gonna do some extra training with some of you
to improve my skills to be a more helpfull pilot
I will thank the whole bomber team for their good teamwork
and the fighthers for clearing the way.
Dutch..,

A bit of bad luck the first mission, but the second was very successful!
Nellip and I got the big Carrier, and Dutch and Trev seriously damaged the other!!
Thanks to the Fighter Jocks for clearing the skies for us!
Had a great time!!! Thanks Vin!

Just want to echo the sentiments of the others.
I had a blast - literally in that by some fluke my bombs actually hit something
To misquote Woody Allen - the most fun I have had with my clothes on - he said without laughing of course when referring to sex - but last night there were plenty of laughs as well as great teamwork and good comms (or at least better and more focussed than we usually manage )
I have already downloaded the tracks so I can try and work out what I did right for a change. See you all next Sunday.
Many thanks to Vin and Greg for putting these together for us.

Managed to fly on two of the missions and have to say it was great fun.
Good to see everyone working together.
I found it a wee bit difficult without the comms. I spent too long on a japs tail and allowed an enemy onto my tail. As I saw the enemy bullets flying past me, someone managed to cover me and shoot the bandit down.
Thanks whoever that was.
Thanks to Vin and Greg for their efforts.
Priority for next weekend is a new headset and mike so I can get back on comms.
Great stuff guys.

Twas brilliant yesterday, so many FIs, such a good fight, poor AIs
I enjoyed it a lot, let's drink to the creators - Rab, Ard, and Gen
And a wee question - how does ground kills count when it comes to fighter pilots? And for Dst Serv Cross do we need 2 kills in a mission or 2 kills in total and 5 missions alive wil do?
Yes, I love medals
thank you guys for great time, looking forward to next tie!:)

I have no idea why the Zero's plodded along and didn't engage us in that last mission. They were set on escort and in each flight of 3 there are 2 ace's and 1 vet. So I guess we were damn lucky they didn't. My view is take the kill's and say nothing. We'll test the next batch and sort it out for next sunday. Also I'm going to put in another flight of SBD's which will have a triangular flight path so if there are guy's to fly them well and good if not they will RTB.
