Hey good service. So how many weeks do you suppose Joe and Bill have been gaming with YOUR computer mate?

Actually, I asked Hunter82 if he could forward YOUR machine to me for a couple more weeks as part of our quality assurance program. Now where did I put that game CD? :-$

Ok, Ok so the surroundings and the planes/soldiers will look extremely nice on your new rig, but how will you do killing the enemy? I mean being killed with better framerate is still being killed. ;)

gak!

No more quality assurance!

I want quality gaming!

...

I talked to Joe just a second ago and boy is he good with numbers and letters and all kinna things that make your brain fuzz over,

but what I did understand was that (for example) at 1150x864 with everything cranked up to the max (8AA etc) he got 70 fps.

Is that good?

I'm so familiar with one fps that I have little concept of anything higher.

He'll send some other bench scores later to me.

And as far as my abilities go ...

<sigh>

we'll see.

It's just that ...

I love you guys so much that I find it dificult to shoot at you ...

except for Snoop and Gen.

I owe those two a few.

;)

70 you say? Terrible, terrible Falcon. No really. :^o I think that is out of a possible 500, with 450 being just bearable. So sorry mate. I think your old machine with 1 fps still had some life left in her.

Let me reference a rather detailed but highly scientific article on framerate. Now where did I put that thing? :-k

Anyway, I have more important problems right now, like how do I take YOUR machine inners and swap them with my Dell computer. Duct tape. Yes good old Canadian duck tape should do the trick.

[telephone rings] Got to go Falcon, that must be Bill with the courier information I need to receive your machine for some of that quality assurance stuff I was mentioning.

Pah! 70 you say. Thats only 40 fps more than mine......... at lower res....... with 4xaa..... quite a bit of eye candy off.... lol. #-o

That would probably play IL2 at 1600x1200 with 4xaa then.. Lordy!! Send some screenies Falcon to make us feel even more,,, err "challenged"

It has been sent!

DIRECT to N'Awlins

no Candinadian stop-overs!

and Joe held back the TrackIR3Pro because the TrackIR4 is coming out on November 16.

Having a penchant for new sparkly things,

I immediately said, "yes!".

TrackIR 4? I've bought TrackIR 6 on e-bay! Although Keppoch says it's just a box of spoons, I KNOW it's nothing but elite high tech goodness.
