Has anyone else noticed that over the past week or so there seems to be far more squabbles and flare ups between players using HL ?. Sunday was particularly bad- I left two servers because people were getting pretty nasty with each other over some really petty stuff.

Looking at some of the forums there is a growing anticipation for the next patch with lots of people getting weird over it.

I think the two are linked and we have seen the creation of a new medical condition- Patchitis. If anyone feels that they may have been infected please follow these simple steps for complete recovery.

1. Go to Pub
2. Order 4 pints of Guiness
3. Add 1 large measure of cherry brandy to each pint
4. Drink the lot

For serious cases a further treatment may be required and the addition of a kebab.

I have used this method in the past for other complaints and can heartily recommend it although my heart cannot. I hope that this may assist some of those poor unfortunates currently afflicted

With Cherry *ugh* brandy in your Guinness you'll most certainly need it....

I prefer it straight, to be honest... a bit chilled, and it's perfect... But I'm fer tryin' new things... occasionally... And for some reason the cherry brandy struck me as tasty...

Not sure why...

And it sure wasn't fer the Guinness...

Its called a depth-charge and is an acquired taste..

Try a shot of advocaat in yer Guinness.

Seperates out nicely. Handy if you missed the scrambled eggs for breakfast.

...if you run acroos the petty whiners again, advise them that a stiff charge of Penicillin is just what they need. It cures a lot of ills. If it doesn't, the sore arse will keep them occupied otherwise.

...try the bucket! I hear some places include them free with a DepthCharge order! (just like those barkeeps to be thinkin' ahead, huh?) When yer leanin' over it, record the noises and sell 'em to Hollywood! Great sound effects for horror movies, SF, and comedies!

Or just keep one by your chair and tell everyone your name is "Mr. Creosote".
