New year, new aircraft paitings ...

Folks,

today I'd like to present to you one of my latest skins: the Spitfire Mk.IXe. There are two FIS version available: one for the VVS and the other for the RAF - it's the first RAF skin I've created so far so take a close look at it and tell me what you think about my creation. I've tried to keep it as close as possible to the RAF painting standards. Especially the British marking on the rudder gave me some problems forcing me to choose a new location for our FIS insigina. Another issue for me was the new coding for each pilot. Here's the list of the codes I'd like to use for the upcoming RAF paint jobs ...
  • Armitage: FI - AR
  • Genosse: FI - GN
  • Heloego: FI - HE
  • Blue2: FI - BL
  • Nellip: FI - NE
  • Bluebell: FI - BB
  • Macca: FI - MC
  • Hardball: FI - HB

Any thoughts or critics on the skins, folks?

Very nice Frank, VVS is good as it is. The RAF one, the green and white stripes don't go all the way to the top, was that deliberate?, No problem if it is, a very good job done on the RAF, including the coding, with the squad number on the white banding a nice touch.

Take another look, Vin. The green stripes DO go to the top actually - Frank just omitted the white ones, and it's hard to see the green against the camo on the top portion of the tail, I think.

They all look good to me, Frank, and I'm fine with the suggested RAF identifications.

Thanks again! Very nice work. We appreciate your dedication! =D] =D] =D] =D]

Folks,

today I need a bit of assistance of yours. I'm quite indecisive about the colour scheme of the La-5FN series 2. Take a look yourselves and let me know what you think which one to choose. Or may be you'd prefer a complete different one ... ?

Frank, the 2nd one is my choice, though I'll go with whatever the majority choose.

Thanks a lot for your input, Vin! :D

Since you're the majority right now yet I'm still indecisive I'd like to offer both versions of the colour scheme to you. So I'd like to invite all of you to download my latest work on a FIS version of a La-5FN Series 2 paint job. You know where to get those skins, right?

Folks,

since there seems to be an interest also to fly for the dark side of IL-2 I've just started to create skins for Axis aircraft. Today I'd like to present you the skin for a FW-190 A-5 in its late war version ...

Frank,
How about the Squadron badge placed where the hakenkreuz is supposed to go and personal insignia where the Squadron badge is presently, plus squad name where insignia is? Stick with numbers in green and green banding around fuselage.
