The new (2nd) edition of TAW began on 7/10. Several of us flew some sorties in this event during its last run and had some good times. The =LG= squad guys are doing a great job with it & I think it's going to continue to improve. I'll be flying it when I can & thought it could use a thread here since I imagine at least 4 of us will participate.
I just finished setting up our squad on the TAW web site. To join up & get going, do th3 3 steps below BEFORE you enter the TAW server for the 1st time within the game:
1) Go to the TAW web site: http://taw.stg2.de/index.php (Go ahead & bookmark - you'll be back frequently!)
2) Click "Register an Account" at upper right
IMPORTANT Put your pilot name in the 1st field, exactly as it is in BOS (For me: =FI=Blue2 ...probably looks very similar for most of you, but make sure)Enter password of your choosing in the 2nd field.
Enter your email address (optional), choose "Allies" and complete your registration.
3) Once this is done, PM me here or via the BOS forums - I have to add you to the squadron, since I was the one who set it up for us. Then you're all set.
NOTE: If you have already entered the TAW server within the game (during the current session of TAW), the site will have already auto-registered your pilot name, and auto-created a web site password for you also. In that case you will need to PM the admins via hte BOS forums to get your password & log in. (Right now it doesn't look like anyone has done this, when I view the list of registered pilots, so this is 'just in case.')
