Even the "Little Dictator" thingy on the tail...

Mk VIII (WIP), low and behold, it's a Kristorf skin too. My beloved checks are seriously warped at the nose, may just drop 'em, too much work. Need to resize the numbers and the harp on the tail...

If you're serious about an alternate insignia for the second team ...

here's Tac's and Sneaky's idea smoothed out.

Available in layers,

unless someone has it better.

Cool Matt,

Yours looks larger and has better detail.

I like the black too.

Let's see how and if Tac wants to impliment these and please make yours available to the other skinners.

Good job!

Black and silver looks real classy.

And in case you're wondering; this is how tacky-cheesy "more Germanic eagles", would look:-

You got another winner there matt.

I need to blur the irregular rings and tons more to do. Any ideas how to Irish-up an Italian ride?

Oh, Frank, any problem with showing the Roman fasces symbol on your site?

Late series Macchis 8) , will be interesting to see them in action against the P-40s.

Looking good already Falcon, the spinner really catches the eye and looks well.

As for ideas for Irishizing them, I'll brainstorm here a bit, maybe something will take your fancy.

- Harp/FI insignia in center of white fuselage band (some Italian planes had insignia's there).

- Thin, vertical green and gold/orange lines at each side of white fuselage band.

- Make the irregular rings a reasonably strong shade of green.

- Make the squad numbers black with a gold border or white with a green border.

- Green wingtips

- Green band across wing where cannon protrudes

- Green leading edge to wings

- Irish flag across white fuselage band and a smaller one on high, forward part of vertical stabiliser, mimicking the markings of ANR planes from Sept. 43 on.

Really looking forward to this campaign already, and we still have more fun to have in Tunisia.

I was gonna wait to do the numbers until we divied up the teams and picked Axis or Allied. Although I'm thinking all participants would like one of the skins...
