I'm always wary of any 'free' utilities out there. Be very careful with your Registry. Make a backup first or else you'll be screwed big time. Be aware of what your utility is cleaning. I once lost my Windows sound when a utility erased it. Had to reinstall all sound drivers. If you do decide to use free utilities make a background check on the product using the web and make a virus scan on the product. I'm not saying that the product Sneaky posted isn't good, just be careful.

Making a "trusted backup " of the reg really goes without saying when cleaning.

GAOTD offers special licences for each featured program. Registry Easy normally retails for $34.99, so in essence is not regular freeware.

For those interested in security todays program "Buffer Zone" will set up a safe virtual area on your PC for downloads, programs and e-mail attatchments.

Just installed buffer zone and it looks like a real winner. It gives another level of security apart from your regular firewall.Should be of special interest to anyone using services like e-mule as well as regular browser, messenger e-mail etc.
