Hi Vin,

Without your explainations, remarks and tips in this thread I would surely be lost in this.
On teamspeak I heard you explaining steps to Conrad (pretty complicated) and after reading, learning and executing I finally succeeded after some hours trying, retrying, cursing, uninstalling and so on. Had the six-updater.yml missing message also and it took me half an hour to figure it out: copy content in notepad and save as blabla in the specific folder. Ofcourse I finally forgot to replace the shortcut to the (beta)game on my desktop resulting in another error message ( Error compiling pixel shader), but also in this case your messages/links directed me towards the proper solution.

And yes! I think even I got it right now - would never get this done without your input: THANKS A LOT MATE! =D]

By the ways: getting connection to the Six-Updater url (which was my first challenge) is still somewhat uncertain - I got it right by replacing the name of the url by its' IP address

Last action as requested: version number ACE, as already assumed by you it has been upgraded: it's now version 1.187 :!:

Well that's it for now - almost 2 AM - hope to join you all next time with the ACE mod

Greetz and salute!

Nice one Duke, happy to assist whenever possible. Have a look around in the editor, there is some great stuff in there.

Is this ACE mod for ARMA 2? And would I require it if I was to join a game with you?
