The sad thing is I probably could've wandered around the same places that guy did proclaiming my self the King and Queen of Cheese and, with enough editing, we could've gotten the same results. There's a late night talk show host out in L.A. who does the same thing. Only the people he targets don't ...

Great comments and suggestions.
Thanks for the input all! I really appreciate the suggestions. I haven't fully decided what I'm going to do next. But, I will eventually have a Throttle/Stick with Pedals, as I enjoy the prospect of immersion and have looked forward to more immersion since picking up my TrackIR some time back. I hav...

Need some help from you wise fellows...
I have been considering upgrading my joystick for some time now. I thought, briefly, about the Thrustmaster Cougar then came to my senses. Now, I'm considering the X52, as it's very similar to my X45 with a few extra bells and whistles. I have a, tempermental but working, stick right now. Should I h...

I had a friend who got one of the "extreme" gaming laptops from one of the big laptop companies (but not the big gaming computer companies). It worked great, played games and looked beautiful. But heat was a major problem for that thing all the time. So much so that it, eventually, cratere...

I don't normally answer these types of things when I can't help. But I'm using firefox (1.5.???) and I'm able to hit google. Is there a preference setting, or addon/tool, that you changed recently? I'm sorry that I'm not much help, but there are so many different things that can change from FF setup...

Is your Daddy home?
The boss wondered why one of his most valued employees had not phoned in sick one day. Having an urgent problem with one of the main computers, he dialed the employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper. "Hello?" "Is your daddy home?" he asked. "Yes,&q...

This movie is less about the history and more about Frank Miller's Graphic Novel (of the same name). That's not to say that it's not based in history. But it's how Frank Miller tells it, not necessarily how "History" has it word for word. The graphic novel ( "the 300" ) is severa...

I am not sure, to be honest, because I don't keep up with Basketball. I know the games scores are high due to the fact that the sports channels read the scores during the season. I'd much rather be watching/playing football... Both American and European (read: everyone else's), though I have not don...

Get away from my deer!
It was Saturday morning and Jake, an avid hunter, woke up ready to go bag the first deer of the season. He walks down to the kitchen to get a cup of coffee, and to his surprise he finds his wife, Alice, sitting there, fully dressed in camouflage. Jake asks her, "What are you up to?" Alice ...
