Re: a bit of a joke
Well nothing against REME as they always fix my toys! Artillery well as long as I don't hear over the radio "oops" ever again, especially when I'm down range. Armored, well I've never seen one with dirty boots, so I agree "Gay Tankers" Infantry, The group of which all other servi...

Can't Connect to IL2 Servers...

Apparently right click the COMODO Shield Icon in the lower right and choosing Exit doesn't actually shut the firewall off. Once I uninstalled it, I could reconnect to IL2 servers. Ok, new computer, IL2...

Conman Sometimes it takes FMB a little time to load up. Have you installed any additional mods/planes since you've last tried FMB? If so try and uninstall those mods/planes (normally finding them in the MODS folder and rename the folder of the suspected mod with a "-" infront of the folder...

Re: O-kay, EXACTLY which Vista do I order?
Vista 64 sounds good, but you will probably not see any 64bit advantages as there are very few 64bit software written for the common man. There is a Internet Explorer 64bit but it isn't any faster than the 32bit version and there are no Flash drivers etc available, so many web sites can be viewed, b...

My new PC should be able to play
Nope, it won't. Extra gig of ram I can do but, forking out more $$$ for a vid card is out of the question.
I'll check out a demo if one comes out though.

Welcome to the Forum, I for one am a Free Track user word of caution though, check out their Web Camera compatibilities, herehttp://www.free-track.net/english/hardware/webcam.php. I have a Logitech Quickcam Communicate STX. Picked it up dirt cheap and it works fine.

Just got my NEW (Been a good husband and did ALL the chores on time....this time) PC. Not the one I was dreaming about but she'll play BoB if it ever comes out. Anyways, I brought it home and was setting it up, because I have to get IL2 up and running. So I get all that done, and fire up Il2 and set...

Re: Strange shadows over water
Scott, I don't have a NVIDA card so I can't help you there but for those of us with ATI cards, try and set your CAT A.I. to "Standard" setting it to off or Advanced really messes things up in IL2, as well check your Open GL triple buffer, I activated mine and the water seems prettier.
