I saw the trailer and it looks good but a Pearl Harbour set in WW1 is at the back of my mind. I'll go and see it anyway, the Nieuports look uber!

What an amazing guy, I grew up watching all of his tv shows and he'll be missed. It is so tragic, especially for his wife and two young kids. Rest in Peace mate :(

P39 :)

1. It looks good
2. Nice cockpit
3. Nice cannon
4. Good view
5. It has a tube in the cockpit floor you can urinate into

I like it despite the fact that the engine ignites 6 seconds into a dogfight and it will always be my number one choice followed by the I153.

Thanks for the responses guys. I messed around a bit more with these .exe files and it looks promising. Lastnight, I flew two 15 minute missions with no problem. So I will let you know if it crashes again.

Crashing to desktop with 4.05

S! Lads, I've been downloading the latest patches and everything went fine. However, upon installation of the pe2 addon, things started to go bad. I am able to fly for about 5 minutes before there is a crash to the desktop and an error saying something along the lines of "unable to access memor...

Nellip, good sir!
I have been to Krakow several weeks ago...the best thing to do is just explore, there are good bars everywhere. However, maybe I can recommend a place called Indigo as well as a place called Piano Cafe. Tell them to visit the saltmines as well. S!

Interesting accident in Ireland this morning

I don't know if any of the irish boys heard about the weird incident this morning. A truck crashed on a bend in County Cavan, offloading its cargo of 6,500 hens in the process. They ran all over the main road and started laying eggs out of sheer fright when the traffic never stopped. Unfortunately, ...

I read an account of a Dutch C47 evacuating civilians & wounded from somewhere (possibly Singapore). Anyway, as expected the IJN pilots were under strict orders to destroy any aircraft encountered. A nun wrote of looking out her window and seeing a zero right alongside them. Apparently it was fl...

Seems like any aircraft Rudel flew could take alot of punishment (even if he was shot down 30 times). I don't think it was actually possible to kill that man. I also read an account where he was flying an fw 190 and the engine failed, forcing him to glide back to his own lines, dodging church towers...

Excellent pics William - love the one of the fw190 head on. However I have just noticed something. Am i right in thinking that the image of the bf109 about 3 rows down on the right side of the page is in actual fact an image from IL2? Or maybe im just going crazy. Seems to have eastern front marking...

Has anyone ever read "Samurai!" by Saburo Sakai? One of the best books I have ever read, it charts his experiences from the war in China right up to 1945 and how he shot down 64 aircraft. It tells of how he was shot in the head, losing an eye and how he still managed to get his Zero back t...

I have just finished reading "Roberts Ridge" by a guy named McPherson. Its about a few SEALs who were being inserted by Chinook to establish an OP on a mountain in Afghanistan. An rpg hit the aircraft and one of the guys fell off the ramp into the snow and then fought off a large number of...
