Re: Friday night, Bomber night

I was on for a bit, popped into the TAW server to see what was what, it was wall to wall Axis with no allies in sight, so I didn't even click on an Airfield, just looked around the map and left.

Re: Friday night, Bomber night

Yeah Frank, will be midnight my time and I get up at five for work. Think it will have to be the TAW on Saturday evening for me.

Re: Friday night, Bomber night

Hi Larry, can't commit to any wars that require my undivided attention, work and family don't give me that luxury any more, no problems with the FNBN or even the one on Saturday, as these have quite a relaxed attitude to them.
So, if its for a Saturday night then I'm quite happy with that.

Re: Friday night, Bomber night

Thanks Larry, I'll cover you and Frank in your PE-2s while you destroy those pesky Axis ground targets.

Re: Friday night, Bomber night

Always a bonus to get back in one piece after a good sortie, next week we should stick together whatever we fly. Funnily enough I survived both shoot downs, so no major dramas, though the Red side is losing Aircraft at a shocking rate. The advantage is with the Axis lot, quite historical of course, ...

Re: Friday night, Bomber night

Last nights (06th) sorties were a bit of a disaster for me, though I'm not put off, just need more flying under my belt. Frank and Larry, how did you fare? Perhaps be better if we stick together and fly the same Aircraft, if not then be on comms together and fly bomber and escort together, flying a ...

Friday night, Bomber night

Frank, I'd definitely be interested in this, I see 1_Java crowd are in it also. Though this Friday is taken up with work and a camping trip the following weekend. It seems the flyable slots are grabbed quite quickly, so if we were to go ahead we would need to jump in quickly when its posted up. But ...

Re: Heroes & Generals

Frank, There is one on steam called Verdun, though thats based during WW1 and obviously trenchbound. Don't know of any others, apart from the Red Orchestra ones, oh and there is always Iron Front. Point blank refuse to have anything to do with the BF franchise.

Re: Heroes & Generals

I downloaded it and had a few minutes with it, not for me this one, I have left this run and gun stuff behind, much prefer the Arma approach.

Re: FIP in Arma3

Barra, I am in a similar position, its in the lap of the gods when I can get on, though I try for Sunday evenings. I've been looking at making some small coops, it looks like things got easier for mission makers now, the editor is much better and most things can be done in there now.

FIP in Arma3

Just a little pic of an insignia I made for Arma3, now all my troops have their true colours showing.

Re: Where I've been

Good to hear from you Greg, alls good here, getting married next month, my time on the computer varies week to week, all dependant on domestic stuff. If I remember rightly you hit enough trees in the old il2 game as well. Glad you made a recovery. Pop in every now and then to let us know how your ge...

Re: Invitation

Gareth the ceremony and reception are all in the south of Glasgow (Giffnock), and yes Laura does know quite a bit about my experiences and is still with me!!!. As you can guess Frank, we need nothing to start off, as we have practically two of everything. I hope all goes well with the operation. Vin
