Re: DelanClip

Looks quite sturdy.
I'll keep this in mind when my TIR Pro plastic setup breaks. Not a matter of "if", but "when". ;)
Meanwhile only the mounting clip has broken, and the trusty standby repair with Velcro has held up for years.

Re: 2-Wheeled Transport

O-TAY! Finished up the wiring and took her for a spin this afternoon. Alignment feels good, but I'll need to get used to the steering damper again, especially on those right-hand turns in first gear! Still a couple of cosmetic items to look after, but then it's off to a canyon with the missus loaded...

NP, Gen!
We all understand RL very well. :) And a bit of quality time between father and son is always welcome, is it not? Just drive safely and get both of you home safe and sound. :)

Re: 2-Wheeled Transport

I think the worst thing about having this Side Car ( mine has no brake) is the setup once it's attached to the bike. You should adjust so the bike has a lean angle out from the car of about 1.5-2.0 degrees to account for road center crown. That's not too bad, but then aligning it minimize pull to th...

Re: 2-Wheeled Transport

2006 Royal Enfield Electra X. Spent a whole year re-building, re-painting, and improving the engine's breathing. Goes like a raped ape now. https://i.imgur.com/jn1hbzw.jpg 2012 Royal Enfield Bullet C5. I've taken this one from Albuquerque, NM to Aurora, Colorado twice now. Great bike for the 2-lane ...

Re: 2-Wheeled Transport

Ugly? No way! Love the color, too.
I believe that same bike is sold here in the States as the Honda Pacifica (I think).
Thanks for the pic!

2-Wheeled Transport

Anyone here with 2-wheeled transportation besides myself and McBiggles? We both have Royal Enfields and get together as often as possible for rides around Santa Fe, usually. I have a '12 Bullet C5 Classic 500cc (currently in pieces in the garage), a Bullet '06 Electra X 500cc, and a '18 Bonneville T...

Re: Elite: Dangerous

Mike helped me with a strategy to help avoid those deadly NPCs. Selecting my missions a bit more carefully definitely helps, and immediately bouncing out to a different system, then right back again may help a bit. No time for ED at this time, though. PArt arrive for one of my bikes and for the mo' ...

Re: Gen's BOS skins

Nice, Frank! This may seem to be "nit picking", but the vertical warning stripes under each side of the cockpit should be red or yellow since they are after all warning stripes intended for ground crew to avoid the prop arc while an engine is running. As a compromise, our beloved orange from the col...

Re: Online Recording Tracks

Apologies.
I won't make this Sunday due to work.
We're in the middle of getting compliant with a couple ASB's (Alert Service Bulletins) from Airbus and it's balls to the wall tomorrow for the second helicopter.
Looking forward to the following week though! :D
Cya then! And hear ya, too!

Re: Gen's BOS skins

All are excellent Gen! Maciej and Larry's suggestions are good ones and I agree, except for tri-color prop blades (a bit ostentatious IMHO). I lean toward the top of the Vertical Stabilizer and the Prop Spinners only (less is best, y'know :) ) And, of course, we'll need Winter skins, too. :D Also, a...

Re: Elite: Dangerous

Mike's mic worked ok Friday night. Got me squared away with some upgrading, and greatly appreciated! Now if I could just get to another system without some f*cked up NPC with a Deadly Anaconda killing me before I get a chance to deploy my weapons it'd help. That last update seems purposely designed ...

Re: Elite: Dangerous

Maybe "ED" is, after all, appropriate. That last update makes my PC crash when I switch to the Galactic Map, screws up ALL my controls, and has made any and all NPCs coming after me "Deadly". Especially if I've accepted a "Chain Mission". How's a guy supposed to make a decent living anymore? ...
