Kidney Stones

Post by Alchemist » Wed Feb 25, 2004 3:34 am

\:D/ Kidney stones are VERY painful for ordinary mortals. Irishmen (and women, of course) are mearly made of superior materials (way back when), and are much stronger and more resistant to pain! :badgrin:

Just wanted to post saying that I developed a slight twist to the tactics we were using against the Ace AI Yak3s (applicable to any fight where the enemy has a better turn rate). I've been experimenting in QMB builder with it and it cuts down the chance for a head on kill by the sniper AI grealy if executed properly :D. Come this Wednesday for training and I'll let you in on it ;)

Here is something to keep in mind when flying on a server with limited planes/pilots per side.

Some of the time your buddy is calling for help and you know you should help them but if you try and help them you will probably end up loosing two planes instead of one.

So you need to ask yourself is it worth it loosing two planes/pilots instead of one in the hope of a slim chance that both of you will make it out alive?

Well if you are playing a mission with FBDaemon and things are getting close it probably isn't worth it :D

Don't feel bad because unlike the real world your buddy will be right back with you and if you play it right you will be able to do a lot more damage to the other side this way than if you had lost two planes instead of one.

I have been using this site for a while (actually printed out the material - I keep two large binders of IL-2 stuff handy - I know need counselling!).

Noticed they have done some updates, including info on the new planes coming out shortly. Take a look mates (Helo you have all this stuff for Goat Skies mate?)

http://free-st.hinet.hr/dvd/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

For example:

Yak-3 2 x 12,7 mm UBS* / nose 1 x 20 mm ShVAK** / 10 sec 120 rpg / 9 sec none

Yak-3P 2 x 20 mm B-20S* / nose 1 x 20 mm B-20**/ 11 sec 120 rpg / 10 sec none

I know, I know - no one cares about uber planes like Yaks :roll:

At least until several pages of my site disappeared for some reason. When I tried to update the site not only did the pages not update, but the files on my pc got corrupted, too. Damn me for drinking and updating! :cry:

Btw, what's a Yak? ;)

BTW...

...that particular chart is only good for loadouts included in the original IL2 Sturmovik.
It does not include any additions from FB or AEP.

Missing models/loadouts include the IL2T, and IL2I.

Nonetheless a very good source of info!

Thanks, Tact!

Sure you picked the right chart mate? All the flyable AEP planes are there. Try again Helo - http://free-st.hinet.hr/dvd/ammo.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
