Sunday 24th October

Post by :FI:Nellip » Wed Oct 20, 2010 11:50 am

Haven't had time to do much and therefore no historical stuff will be available for this Sunday.

I have knocked up 3 missions as follows:-

1 pure dogfight on the NW Europe map. 3 bases each, blue have Stukas on the bomber base and 109F4s on the fighter bases. Red have IL2 field mods on the bomber base and P39's on the fighter bases. Bomber bases have lots of static aircraft and are around 15 minutes flying time apart. Objective is to destroy your opponents bomber base 100%. All bases have AAA. Teams will have to balance number of fighters to bombers and whether to defend the bomber base or escort their bombers attacking the other side.

The other 2 missions are more like Mike and Gadje's 6v6 machine matches - hope they are not copyright

First is F4F3 v Zero, second is P51D v 190A9. Teams air start co-alt at 2000m and around 5 minutes flying time apart. 8 seats per team made up of 4 pairs which will have some separation when you spawn. Winning team is the last one to have at least one plane in the air.

It is - although personally I would use 6 x 100 bombs - 30 minutes round trip for one VAP drop and if you miss? Plus don't think it is as effective on static aircraft. Works great on a column of trucks though!!!!

Folks!

I´m currently working on some 1943 Kursk COOP missions although I don´t know when the first ones will be finished ... :?

I´d really appreciate it if there were more squaddies creating some new missions. :doubt:

Keep up the good work, Neil! :D

It would be nice to fly a few coops where I didn't know what was going to happen and be biting my tongue all the way through.................

Any questions Eamonn ask away - you might find someone who knows a bit about the FMB comes along ;)

If I may, I've got missions that only the Friday crew have flown if you'd like to try some of those.
A change is as good as arrest...anyway.
I'll be around tomorrow. We can decide then. In the meantime I'll go and make several of them more dangerous.
