Uruguay - Netherlands

Now, that was a match: after jerky beginning and a scattered gameplay the whole acting on the field turned out to be an exciting thriller. In the 92 minute (!!!) the Uruguayans shortened the match result to 2:3 and the referee didn´t like to blow the final whistle ... after 96 minutes the Netherlands marched into the final.

Goed gedaan, elftal! :D

Germermany's turn tonight Frank ;) Lets hope the spaniards are having a siesta LOL. I recon Germany can beat them though as long as the play as well as they did their last two games.

Germany didn´t make it. After losing the match 0:1 they will meet Uruguay next Saturday. :(

and Spain wins with a great goal. Glad Holland didn't win. Disgraceful show from them. They were playing dirty.

Well, they played rough on both sides yet frankly speaking the most spectacular fouls were done by the Dutchies. Do you remember this one?

This wasn´t nessary at all. Tough final match with no real highlights but a lovely scored goal. The performance of the English referee was a bit too faint ...

Congrats to Spain for winning the Football World Championship! Well done Netherlands for getting into the final ... ^:)
