Taranto

Post by :FI:Nellip » Sun Jul 19, 2009 11:31 am

I have written 2 missions recreating the Fleet Air Arm strike on Taranto in November 1940.

Hopefully we can fly them one Sunday in August?

The first mission is a recon flight from Malta for Hurricanes. The second is the attack itself and players will need the Swordfish beta2 model available through AAA. If you do a search on "Swordfish" on the AAA website you should find it - you will need the 3.8 aircraft installer as well as the Swordfish download. The strike mission itself will have 12 seats for Swordfish pilots (6 armed with torpedos and 6 bombs) taking off from HMS Illustrious and 3 for Hurricanes flying a diversionary mission from Malta.

Well I managed the Italian - and only noticed the English button when I finished

Wardog - there is a new version of the Swordfish on the site (beta2) with a new cockpit and some other improvements - do you have the most recent one?

Have you put the required lines in your aircraft .ini, planes.ru, and weapons .ru ?
The only other thing I can think of is have you installed the aircraf installer 3.8 ?.
