expanding your horizons

Post by :FI:Falcon » Wed Jun 10, 2009 10:52 pm

Several members have asked, "Great and noble Falcon, from whom all blessings flow, how do you see farther once you have transcended this terrestrial plane, shed your mortal coil , joined the choir invisible and generally snuffed it?"

Well, go to your conf file, make a copy of it and put it in a little lock box where it will be safe and look for this section ...

[HookView Config]
AzimutSpeed=0.1
TangageSpeed=0.1
LenSpeed=1.0
MinLen=1.0
DefaultLen=20.0
MaxLen=~3000 for default
Speed=6

and change whatever that number is to a higher number.

I think 50000 is as high as I've ever been.

[HookView Config]
AzimutSpeed=0.1
TangageSpeed=0.1
LenSpeed=1.0
MinLen=1.0
DefaultLen=20.0
MaxLen=50000.0
Speed=6

That should allow you to join Timothy and take a trip around the whole bay.

Gotta be careful, tho.

A setting of 50001 and you're looking at a space odyssey. ;)

Blaine,

Once you have died, you can look around your crash site, right? Well, this allows you to drop back much farther and see much more of the map.
