Corsair colors

Post by :FI:Falcon » Thu Mar 12, 2009 3:07 am

Well, Genosse beat me to the blue Corsair that folks were wanting, but this will give you an example of flight-specific colors.

Here's a three blue paint scheme from Gold Flight.

This sort of identification, if implemented by us, may help organization.

Stu, I posted this somewhere else, but as I volunteered to be Gold Flight Leader, I'm a gonna need acouple of Gold trimed birds with the number 45 and the little Sacktime logo (Although I have been thinking of creating something original......time for that later), also counld you do that Stu magic and in some little way make my bird a little more noticable, heck I am the flight leader, I have to be seen.

This goes for you too Frank, if you and Stu have split the skinning duties on these.

Thank you as always,

Sacktime

Roger Sack,

Anyone who remotely asks, responds, hints, looks at any of these skins will be sent a full set of stuff. I plan on blue, green, white and gold Lightnin's, Hellcats and Corsairs. Nose art and pilot names might be a wee bit thin, but all will have numbers.

Hey Stu

Any chance of getting some in Green flight trim with "28" on? If I have photoshop I would play around myself - do a big cat or something lol. Anybody know if I can download a programme to mess with skins for free?

Many thanks

Andy
Up there the world is divided into bastards and suckers. Make your choice.

That's not flying, that's just falling with style.

Hey, everybody — watch this!

Well toss in a few Corsairs for me as well I guess. Not sure if I'll be flying P38 the whole time.

Hi Stu,
Discovered last time I joined on Sunday that I don't have ANY customized FI skins for the F4U. Please drop me a set when able, sir! :beg:

"41" on the side, along with whichever of my nose art looks best to you. Guessing either your 2-ball or the "Heavenly Ride" would look great on the Lightning. Not sure what would dress up the Corsair best with that dark blue paint background... maybe the "Landing Hot" design...? I trust your judgement. (If you can't find them, I have all the nose art files still.) Muchas gracias!

At one point I started a list of all the "holes" in my FI skins collection, and obviously still need to finish it.
Hope your week's going well. Since I could be late on Sunday, I may try to fly an SEOW mission tomorrow. Talk to you then or [hopefully] Sunday.
S!
