New Unified Installer

Post by :FI:Scott » Sun Feb 01, 2009 10:05 am

The new Unified Installer (1.1) has been released on the AAA website chaps.

D/l'ing is a bit of a mess at the moment no doubt due to the numbers trying to get it but you can log in to your account through several windows to speed it up a bit.The site recommends that 4 pieces at a time is the quickest you can do.

The advice on installing seems to be either patch over a clean copy of the game or delete the MODS and FILES folders out of your modded game and intall over that. As and when I've got it downloaded Im going to try the second option and I'll let you know how it goes.
Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker...

Thank for the information.

I don't know what the unified installer 1.1 will bring, but I hope it's running better as 1.0, what didn't work on my machine.
I had to do our custom installation that runs pretty well right now. I don't have a good feeling about it but let's see what it brings us.

Since my game is running nicely, I'll wait and see what it does. ;)
