SNAFU

Post by Homicide » Sat Dec 06, 2008 8:09 am

Well I now have free track which is much like Track IR....made it from components I had lieing about!

Been working out some bugs......... almost there!
Running a playstation 2 eye toy (Cam Tracker), 120 fps hq cam with 2 directional IR led's.
Only had to purchase a 5 pk of 47 ohm 5% resistors from radio shack (99 cents) For the tracker clip ir led's.
Anyone wanting info on this let me know I have alot of resources!
Be on this weekend!
Ironing out the adjustments M8's!

Flown via the "Hat" since 98...dunno if I can be taught new trix :?:

Good work that man ^:) I was looking at some cheap ways to do the head tracking thing before the missus got me a TrackIR for my Birthday 8) here's the Wii remote one i was looking at http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd3-eiid-Uw
May have to have a go at the Wii remote to make a touch screen for the TouchBuddy interface 8) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5s5EvhHy7 ... re=channel

And here's a nice DIY 3 point LED clip made from a rear light off a push bike.

I seem to recall that someone on these forums wrote some smoothing software for free track.

I too am a Freetrack user. Homi once you get the hang of it (setting up the freetrack can take awhile) you'll never fly with out it.
