Will be getting ArmA, but before I take the plunge I have a few questions.
Should I get the basic sim or the Gold Edition?
Patches?
Mods?
Surely would be helpful.

You will have to patch up to 1.14, and the patching order depends on which version you get. Theres a thread on the forum that has a link to the Mods required.

Hmmm.
Began Basic and "qualified" on Obstacle COurse and M16, but I just gotta wonder about the DI.
Seems his hat brim covers his eyes no matter what level or angle you look at him. Just ducks his head once in awhile.
I fully understand the derogatory remarks. I wouldn't expect anything less.
But could the guy be a man and look me in the eye when he says those things about my mommy?
