Falcon Mint is re-releasing these historic proof sets that can only increase in value.

For those who wish to strike fear into the hearts of innocent Moscovites Italian style ...

Fantastic work as always Stu.

Loving the 3D-effect on the cowling of the 200 and the leading-edge weathering on the underside of the wing. =D]

I think I have a personalised 202/205 from H.E. but if you've made upgrades I'd love another. I definitely would like a 200 please.

If you wanted to go for the full eastern front historimical accuracy thing then it should be the 202 instead of the 205 as I don't think the latter saw service over Russia. Also Italian planes over the eastern front had a white triangle painted on each wing and had yellow fuselage bands, like so:

Finally, here's a shot of my favourite Italian bird. :D

Thanks Moe. The 205 works w/the 202 ... iirc. Yeah, these are Med schemes. I think it will take just a sec to EastFrontitate 'em. I'll send both skins along.

Oh, and the mech layer is from Abraxa and some elements are by our very own Genosse.

I should have them by this Sunday.

Oooooo-kay,

the 205 doesn't work perfectly well wiff the 202. There are several tiny detail issues certainly, but there is also a noticeable difference with the nose and air ducts ...

Image
WIP

soooo, which 202 do we need, cuz even the 202's are different enough to rate their own skin in some cases. Do we need the

MC.202,
MC.202III,
MC.202VII
or MC.202XII?

thx,

Okay, this is not a WIP. It's a beta. What's the difference?

Image
I have no idea. It simply seemed more beta-ee.

Still a lot more work to do to fix the void and add more details, but I'm stopping it here so that it can be ready for Sunday.

thanks for asking,
