Dat wuz close!

I hate to say it, but the pilot may have screwed up a bit there.

Skip the thought of landing with such high x-winds and gusts ...

notice when he attempts to swing the nose in line with the runway?

He DOESN'T lower the right wingtip. That's a standard maneuver; as you straighten up juuuuust before touchdown you lower the wing facing the wind.

Now, that gust could have been so strong to prevent the wing from lowering as much as he wanted, but I fear the pilot could have done a better job.

Yeah I saw this on sky's news site today. Imagine what the passengers felt like there.

Bet there were a few wierd smells after and not all in the passenger areas LOL
