Speaking of landings. Yesterday morning a Cessna Skyhawk, flown by a female student pilot veered off our runway after landing pretty hard. It ended up on the grassy area with a bent prop, a damaged nosewheel and leaking fuel. Lucky for her she wasn't injured. She was up flying this morning on another aircraft- as a Flight Attendant!

I have no idea, Sneaks. By the time we arrived on the scene she was carted away by an ambulance. But she's a local so I kind of doubt if she's blonde. But you never know.

Yeah, why bother landing anyway? And having to bother with ILS, PAPI, etc and that dumbass rabbit sitting in the middle of the runway? When all you have to do is bloody bail out in a parachute. Heck, used to do it online all the time.

As long as you are still in the cockpit, the wheels are attached and you are not on fire... that is a good landing to me ;)

I remember once I stupidly let Mrs NightCat pick me up after one to many at the pub - and she was driving just like that! - everything was fine until there was a tiny little spider on the dashboard.

Scary stuff, we now have a spider patrol added to her pre flight check list if I'm ever drunk enough to be her passenger

At least your wife picked you up. Mine's left my ass at the bar until the next day. And on another occassion I spent the night in the doghouse. Man, my dog, Buffy can sure snore loud. Needless to say I stopped getting drunk altogether.
