I went with gogamer.com, but where ever you can get your hand on it quick would be the rule of thumb. unlike Silent hunter 4 which I pre-ordered on 2/28 with the aim of reciving it on 3/17, only to find out today there not going to ship it untill 3/28.Oh that was with amazon though not gogamer.com.

I'm definitely interested in this game. The large map size 400 km^2 and 10km view distances sounds like it can lead to more realistic vehicle play. I know the flight and vehicle models are still simpler than a dedicated sim, but I'd like to know how good are they. How good is ground to air? How good is air to air combat, how much does e-management apply? On the ground front I'm particularly interested in their tanks, how realistic is the modeling there how much control do you have :)? I plan on trying the demo if I like it I'll definitely try the real deal :).

Its out and Frank, Greg, Lars and me played online together and for myself, found it to be damned jolly good. Got a bit intense in the night mission we played, nearly had a heart attack when I did get killed.

It takes getting used to, but well worth it.

Okay,

so it's out and I could get it from GoGamer now, but in May a US release will include extra stuff like the A-10. So, can I get Arma now and upgrade the extras in May? If I wait 'til May, will the old ArmA be compatible with the US game?

Dumb questions I know, but my game allowance this month is low and I can't screw this up.

thanks,

From what I gather the game out now will be patched up to the U.S version coming out in May.
