You would have thought that there would be warning devices"bells and whistles" saying things like "your too slow and too low and your gears up".
Got to say though that even on the deck with the gear up she looks like a cool bird.

I think that's the strongest part of the whole aircraft, judging from the fact that it dragged to a stop a mulit ton bomber!

Hmm, the crew must've fallen asleep after such a long trip. But it's interesting to know what their excuse was before being shipped off to Siberia. We had an emergency landing some time ago. The nose wheel of a Dash-8 didn't come down and the pilot landed on the main gear. The aircraft suffered minimal damage and we had the plane off of the runway in 1 hour.

Just look at the people they let on strategic bombers these days. The US must be getting really desperate for pilots if they removed landing gear operation from basic training. Yet is there any man on this forum that can say he didn't make the same mistake in his RL or virtual flying career? I think not.

On the other the B1 must be a realy sleak aircraft for the crew to be unable to tell whether the gear is up or down by how the plane is handling.

As for the future career of the pilots involved, I think they'll be running supllies to the US antarctic research stations from now on.
See you on the flipside.

I think they should ship out the Air Traffic Controllers to Bora Bora as target practice. They too have to be blamed. They must've seen the gears still up on finals if they were paying attention. I remember long ago playing Jane's IAF and whenever I fly at a certain level over the runway, a female controller will keep reminding me to deploy landing gears.

Hi there Conrad.

I'm ok except for some smallish health problems.

Everything good in Kloosterland?
