Lost Coms

Post by :FI:Murph » Wed Oct 25, 2006 2:22 am

I have been having issues with Teamspeak lately, where I'll suddenly lose the connection in mid-mission.
I can get back on by hitting shift/tab and reconnecting, but it's pretty hairy to do while flying a mission.
I'm going to try setting a higher priority for TS in task manager- any other suggestions?

Yes, if the radio goes out at a critical time ...

just open a window and shout really loudly.

...

couldn't hurt.

I thought TS automatically tried to reconnect if it lost connection to the server?

Maybe Murph hasn't toggled this option?

You can switch to another application, but keep the IL2 screen visible in the background.

Do you think we ought to tell him that when you are at the the connection screen when trying to connect to a server, there is a check box to automatically reconnect to the server, or shall we let him find it himself?

Thanks- both done, and done. Hopefully it will help.
