Snaphoo,

I guess you kinna got the Yak-1/1B dumped on you at the last moment. I just found out that the 1 mark is quite different from the 1B; more so than the difference between the different Mustangs.

If you haven't started on the Yaks, let me know. I have found a good template online that I can use to quickly punch out two sets of Yaks.

Damn!

Last minute review of all skins has revealed that the P-63C has a TOTALLY different skin than the P-400/39!!!

So, I'll do that one this week,

unless someone else wants it.

Okay,

it may be a wee bit early to bring this up for I know all you skinners probably have melted mice, weakened relationships and carpal tunnel syndrome up da wazoo, but just to remind you ...

The numbers to the right are a serial no. system I used on some of the ac. It depicts nation of member and month/year of membership. Use it or whatever. I thought I'd include the info if you needed it.

~~~
I have already done the bf-109F/G/K, bf-110 and FW-190A ac. Sorry to take these, but ... like ... I already had them done.
If you have another design of any of these three, please let us see them. We have several ac that have/will have more than one skin.
Claim your Axis stuff now if you haven't already.
No hurries, no worries.
Just spoke to Biggles3 again today. He assures me, the legal papers have been sent to his home by armed escourted courier, that he will be flying a lot next year.
So, I added his name to the list. Okay?
IF any of you skinners have started on the Axis aircraft, (yeah! I'm talkin' to you ... I see you hiding behind the couch!), then don't do the numbers and names thingie until later; just do the basic template. We want to leave out as few active members as possible again.
Thanks,
F
Great Snee, good job. I need to add the new mates' numbers to the 109F/G/K too.
I looked at the base Ju-88 void yesterday. I'm not quite in dah mood to start a whole new skin right now, so if anyone would like to grab that project, feel free.
Then there's the Do-335 and the Ta-152
and the uber jets/rockets
and then the Japanese and Italian birds.
Anyone?
Anyone?
I thought Genosse was gonna do the Italian birds...The only Axis plane I've done was a 190A. I'll take a peek at some of these others you mentioned and see what I can come up with.
Yep, you´re right! I´ve already done the basics on them but they still need to look more used though ...
Gah!
I have NEVER done that before, uh ... and I'll never do it again!
~~~

Fly-by Shooter and Imme have fairly good templates/skins at Flying Legends IIRC. They are very different if you look closely at their line and rivet work. Before I start an 88 I think I'd need to research on what is the real thing. That's what slowed me down a bit. I'm sooo glad someone else is doing it.
