Operation Peacekeeper Mod for BF2

Post by :FI:Dutchman » Wed Apr 26, 2006 3:17 pm

Operation Peacekeeper Preview (source total battlefield 2) written by TB2 viewer.

Recently, I got to sit down and beta test the new Operation Peacekeeper Mod. And what an exciting adventure it was, playing this modification. Although still a little way from release, and a few more things to tweak, I can tell it's going to be a promising modification for Battlefield 2. Warning, I am not a pre/reviewer, this preview is rated H for horrific.

What I found interesting about this modification.. was that it introduced me to a whole new outlook on Battlefield 2. I don't know if it was the new look of scenary, or the new weapons. All I knew, is that first step into a map, and I was hooked. Let's take a look at the amazing player model detail:
You can read the full preview here.

Honestly, I can't express how much I'm looking forward to this mod. And I'd like to thank the OPK development team, for letting me beta test this mod. Rock on, guys.

Thanks for sharing this information Dutch.

As you know I have always felt that despite some shortcomings the BF series offers a great experience for any Platoon/clan (etc), giving folks an amazing control over water, sky and land. Nothing comes close (IMO) to the potential of BF2.

The involvement of EA, and their decision in that first add-on, may be questioned, but a very enjoyable gaming experience nonetheless. Though after my brief enjoyment of the game over 3 or so months a while ago, and shameless promotion of it to the Platoon, though I no longer play it I still occasionally think about some of the great fun I had enjoyed online.

Any WW2 mods yet Dutch?

OK now for an unrelated question Dutch. How can I create links like in your post but substitute the actual url for a coloured title like you have done? It remains a mystery to me mate. :-k

Not wishing to lower the tone of the site anything of that nature would require a statutory warning
