Finnish JU-88 a-4 Finished!

Post by Sapper-FIN » Tue Feb 14, 2006 7:16 pm

Here it is;

Like i thought, it´s impossible to place those swastikas under the wings, without the other swatika beeing mirrored, so i left them unmarked...

"JK-266" from Lentolaivue 44. In 1943 Finland bought 24 JU-88´s from
Germany. From these, 12 planes were destroyed or damaged beyond repair in various accidents, and 3 were destroyed because of the enemy fighters...

If someone want´s this skin, i can deliver it with either WW2 -era swastikas or roundels, which FAF have been using since the war ended (which wouldn´t be totally inaccurate because few Junkers were kept in service for some time, after the war ended)... I guess FIS markings are possible too, although they could look kinda funny in an JU-88(?)

Lovely, truly cute, Sapp!

May I have one with roundels and one with the historical markings and "Macca" under the canopy. No 78 ?

S!
