to :FI:Falcon - test drive please?

Post by Ant1 » Sat Jan 21, 2006 7:19 pm

Hello Falcon and -S- to all.

Its saturday night (well here in Switzerland at least!) I finally made it here - an all new newbie ^:) ready to fail his admission test.
What do I do, where do I go, where's the beer  ?

Ant,

The first beers are free ...

as long as you're buyin'.

Next, go to the Squadron button on the front page and find the application form. Fill that out and come back here and get to know the lads. Post to your heart's content and catch up on all the FI news.

Have a gripe?

Go to the "Rage Page"

Have a problem?

Tell Unka Fen all about it.

Learn about TeamSpeak, HyperLobby stuff and our next match?

Just ask!

Welcome,

Falcon

and now?

Post by Guest » Wed Jan 25, 2006 4:03 pm

Hello all

I have posted the squad application form,
Found and noted the address of the teamspeak server,
(drunk 2 beers  ),
now I need a TS password and
maybe some hint as to the next :FI: event i could join ( I feel a bit embarassed about just looking up an FI member on HL and following them into a Coop without previous notice- am I being complicated?)

Help appreciated

Heck Ant, follow us anywhere, we all know your name now.

Events?

Well, you're in luck, if you don't mind a little late night flying.

TacS hosts "Historic Encounters" on Wednesday nights.

Let him tell you all about it. His server is in the Atlantic time zone and it starts around 8PM there... I think.

Be wary of Tac though, he is a mate of very few words.

Anything else scheduled this week folks?

Indeed, afraid you will have to practically hold me down and force me to write lengthy posts. :^o

Yes tonight we will fly a few missions in Historic Encounters (campaign online missions). As everyone knows all :FI: mates and interested folks are most welcome to join the session. Keep in mind it doesn't start until 10:00 p.m. Atlantic (-4 GMT). You ought to be sleeping at that time mate. ;)

Probably your best bet for something formal is this Sunday. Maybe Genosse or someone else is planning something in the meantime.

See I told you I hate to write long posts. :D

Welcome!

Double gah!

Wednesday is "Family Pizza Night"

even though pizza is half price on Tuesdays.

Go figure.

We will certainly try not to schedule any important squadron activities then!
