Are we all using the various multiplayer servers?
Who is using what in the way of weapons?

I only have BF1942 but we have used TS when I've played. And we have both hosted and joined public servers by the in game matching service. BF2 seems to work similarly in this respect to BF1942.

Blimey forgot I was in civies.
Its only me.
Can I ask a dumb question.......
How do you aquire promotions I have been playing BF2 and apart from getting killed by sundry means have on rare occasions managed to kill a few of the enemy,in tanks aircraft,and on the ground.I had thought this might eventually leadt to promotions but none are recorded in my stats page.
Being a newb again is interesting have looked at the BF2 Forum it's full of terms that mean nothing to me ie "points padding whores".There seems to be a lot of "whores" on the forum of one sort or another,stiil lovin it though.

My is told that you get your stats and promotions by playing online
so the more online playing the faster you get promoted .

you can follow your promotion to the next rank in your online stats, by a little progress bar.

Well I can normaly only play Wednesdays and Sundays. And every thursday now I am going to the local toastsmasters club. I can't play regularly any other day, but I can drop in at random when I get the chance.

I really want to be able to join into a BF1942 game with 5+ squad m8s I think it would be a blast! But I don't know if I'll be able to join in at the same time the rest of you play. If you guys get together Thursday post some pictures for me

Wow, you guys should really check that tutorial out the Forgotten Hope mod is the most realistic first person WWII experience (based on this reading) that I have ever seen! I'm downloading the mod and can't wait to play it
