Some people have all the luck...

Post by Sapper-FIN » Tue Mar 01, 2005 5:02 pm

Look what my workmate got.... A Kar 98!! His girlfriends mother had found that from a woodshed, which used to belong to her father (who fought against germans in northern finland, in 1944)... the most amazing thing is that it´s in a perfect condition...

Now we just got to figure out, where we can get some bullets for that beauty ;)

Oh yes, and my friend will also have to get a licence for that...

Amazing! You could get a lot of money if you sold it on Ebay, or better yet to a collector. Not that I ever would though. That's my favorit Rifle in COD/CODUO. What a Gem. Thank M8 for the post, truly cool! ^:)

You should install Dutchman's Kar98 skin on it ;)

That's awesome mate...

Wow!

nice stapler!
Did i say Kar98? No, stapler i meant

You notice everything

All it´s parts are also with same serial number (which is a big deal with gun collectors), so he could really get a good price from it... I just hope he doesn´t sell it, before i can fire a couple of rounds :D Heck, if it´s money that he wants, i´ll buy it....

As soons as he gets the licence for that baby, we´re off to the shooting range :D

A funny detail: It´s sights can be adjusted up to 2000 meters... pretty optimistic  With modern assault rifles like our RK95, longest practical distance to shoot, is 300 meters ;)

Oh yes... my kinda gun :D

Not really. That cartridge is VERY capable of the 2Km. WOuldn't ahve a lot of spunk form the shorter barreled guns like that. Thye probably used the same sight for the rifle as the carbine that late in the war.

Matching numbers on those guns is VERY nice. ;p)

BUY IT and KEEP it. :D
