These are the best WW2 photos I have ever seen.
Also I just downloaded and watched the P-47 clip, one of eleven movies on the website. HOLY GUACAMOLE! It shows (in glorious hi-resolution full colour) an in-cockpit startup check, lots of external shots, a lot of ground attack footage, some aerial combat, but my favourite bits are filmed from just beside the pilot's POV looking through the gunsight while attacking targets. Man if you ever need a little kick to get you in the mood for IL-2, this is it!!!
I feel all warm and tingly.

PS - I forgot to mention the sound. Maaaaaaaaaaaan wait til you hear those .50-cals! If only we could have that in the sim...
