Post by arne_and » Tue Feb 22, 2005 4:43 pm

Hi. Im new here, and im trying to be recruited into the squadron. Buster told me to fly some test flights with you guys, but i have a problem. I cant figure out what time the sessions are starting! I live in norway, so there is some time differences here and in ireland that i dont know of. I would be grateful if someone could help me with this problem.

Hi M8
Forgive my answering, some much more chrono minded chap will no doudt correct me.
Most often you will find us on H/L of an evening around 6pm till 10.00pm GMT,here I must confess to being unaware of the time difference between the UK and Norway,not much I suspect.
Now whilst this is generally true there are many ,many other players /squad members who live in the colonies and whose timing is therefore different.Notably Canada and the USA,where the Squadrons Aces reside.
This means that they can sometimes be found on H/L in the middleof our night,bless em.
Wednesday,and Sunday nights are generally the two times in the week where we try and get together,,again it tends to be in the evening.No doudt another member of more "official" standing will be in touch if you want to join us, there are forms to be completed in terms of applying to join the squad you can get them on the site.

My dear Tacticals, he was talking about me, but didn't wish to reveal my location. that is why he mentioned some other place:)

BTw. There is a time zones section on the main page. I know, Gurb told me that:) when I wrote time zones thread ,which wasn't needed. there you will find all the timezones ya need.

I think so.

Macca out.

A=Airmen

C=Confident ( of )

E= Escaping

S=Sainthood

Could have said their the ********* that shoot me down all day,but that applies to everyone on H/L.
LOL Got told last night to" learn how to fly before going on H/L",had installed new firewall which kept poping up and in the process of getting rid of it I bumped into this guy in a Stuka.Anyone else use Sygate?

Tried uninstalling it...... failed.
Googled the issue and got pages on how you need to uninstall,reboot regedit,reboot,delete,blah,blah, what a farce.
Have previously used Zone Alarm didnt like it much either,
Might need to move to Mozilla.
